What is the Rosary? In recent times the Mother of God has appeared in various parts of the world and asked for the recitation of the Rosary, the prayer she gave to the world centuries ago. It is her favorite prayer, for it is essentially a meditation on the life of her Divine Son. The Rosary is a combination of vocal prayer (the Our Fathers & Hail Marys) and of mental prayer, namely, reflection on important events in the life of Christ and His Mother.
The Family Rosary Group is a great place to start if you've never played a rosary before, or a place to pray in community with a group of other families and peers! We meet every Monday at 8:00pm on Zoom with the Rosary led by our Youth Minister, Kim and Parishioners of SJB!
We also always encourage to share a prayer intention to the group. You can either mention it at the beginning or end, or throw it in the Zoom chat.
